MINISTRIES
Joining a team or ministry is the most effective way to serve at Potter's House. Each team provides an opportunity to learn new skills or develop your passions. The church is always looking for people who love to serve, are eager to learn and help the church grow.
Worship Team
Our choir leads members of the congregation in songs of praise and worship. They bring us beautiful music every week with their gifted voices. Not much of a singer? Not to worry - with the sounds and melodies from drums, piano, saxophone and guitar, the instrumentalists provide a great compliment for the choir.
Media & Photography
The media team makes us look good - I mean real good. They take amazing photos and videos and run the church social media platforms which help spread the word. If you have a creative mind, enjoy taking pictures or just love helping to reach out to many people at once, this department is for you.
Dance & Drama
Love to dance, act or have a just love being on stage? This team is definitely for you. Once a month the church gets a live stage production that is sure to bring a smile to anyone.
Kid's Ministry
This wonderful department is committed to the spiritual and moral growth of children. They provide an engaging atmosphere for children to actively learn about God and know His word. The Kid's ministry is dedicated in raising up our children in the way of the Lord - you can be a part of it.
Sound & Presentation
This team helps the church sound awesome! They run all the technical aspects of the church from the microphones and sound mixer to the visual displays and presentations done during service.
It all sounds like mumbo-jumbo at the start but if you're eager to learn you're definitely welcome!
Ushers & Greeters
Our ushers are the friendly face you see when you come into the church. They're there to help the service run smoothly. They guide members and guests to their seats, collect the offerings, and remain alert for any emergency or need that may arise during the service.
