“But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.”
Isaiah 40:31 AMP
One of the most difficult things to do in life is to patiently wait upon the Lord. However it is the most rewarding thing to do. The Psalmist says, “Wait for and confidently expect the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord.”
Psalms 27:14 AMP
Believers are likened to an eagle in the scriptures. The eagle is an interesting bird, there is no other bird in his class. Eaglets are born but eagles are made, you are an eagle.
Eagles kill their prey but vultures only eat dead and rotten meat. Eagles make their choices but vultures have no choice. Life is made up of choices. The choices that you make today will determine what you will be tomorrow.
Patiently wait on God and receive direction on every choice or important decision you make.
Shalom!
