“Our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Cor 4:17-18 (NIV)
Trials are simply a part of life. Just when you think you’ve solved one crisis, another one will pop up. But, no trial will last forever!
Sometimes it’s personal, a relationship you can’t seem to heal or a health hurdle you can’t overcome.
No matter what problem you’re facing, one day that problem will be part of your history rather than your present.
Soon enough you will marvel at all that God did in the midst of this trouble as you look at it from the other side.
“So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace.
These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye.
The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever.” 2 Cor 4:16-18 MSG
Father, I thank you for the grace that is always available to see me through IJN.
Shalom!
