II Corinthians 5:9 NKJV “Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him.” There is so much distraction in the world today. You need an undiluted and unwavering commitment to God to withstand the end-time pressure of immortality and other forms of compromise. Every believer should make it his/her aim, ambition and goal to please God at all times and in all places. An old relevant chorus goes thus: “I live for Jesus day after day; I live for Jesus, let come what may. The Holy Spirit I will obey. I live for Jesus day after day.” Make a commitment and make it a goal to strive earnestly to live for Christ who died and was raised for you.
