“I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near,” Says the Lord, “And I will heal him.” Isaiah 57:19 NKJV
Words uttered from our lips are very powerful, we can attest to this fact. Many times I have heard the words: 'I said so' meaning the person uttered the words and events happened as uttered or predicted.
The concerning factor is that some people find it easier to utter negative words or pronouncements against themselves, their situations, children, health, relatives, or nations.
Some time ago, I asked someone: since you have been making this negative confession and pronouncements about yourself, what have you gained? the person answered and said 'nothing'.
If nothing, then it is more profitable to make scripture based pronouncements about yourself or situation even when the circumstances seem contrary to the scripture or positive pronouncements. It's just a matter of time as the negative situation will give way and align with the fruit of your lips.
The scripture above shows us that the lips bring forth fruit, what type of fruit are you producing with your lips?
It's not too late to redirect your lips and begin to pronounce blessings on yourself, your situation, relatives, seed, health, community, home country etc
Father, I ask for your forgiveness for negative pronouncements from my lips. I pray that any negative word spoken consciously or unconsciously will not stand INJ.
Father, I pray that my lips will bring forth fruits of righteousness and be a spring of life IJN
Shalom!
