“Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life.” Proverbs 4:23 AMP Everything God has planned concerning your life, everything you’ll ever become, is a function of what you allow in your heart.That’s why He wants you to guard your heart with all diligence. You need to carefully and conscientiously watch and guard what goes into your heart. Problems can come through thoughts. They come through the senses and travel through your thoughts because the mind is the doorway to the spirit. Consequently, any information that goes through your mind must be scanned and filtered. Your heart is the most delicate part of your body. The quality of your spirit is dependent on the content of your heart, that is why Jesus said “It is not what goes into the mouth of a man that defiles and dishonors him, but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles and dishonors him.” Matthew 15:11 AMP The word of God is the cleanser of the heart.
