“For in fact, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness will cover the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you [Jerusalem] And His glory and brilliance will be seen on you.” Isaiah 60:2 AMP
We see darkness covering the whole earth and people living and wallowing in the darkness of this world, but for the children of God we are promised a rising glory, which is from the Lord. It is this glory that makes the difference.
The presence of darkness cannot and must not intimidate the light that you are. It may be a necessary tool in glorifying your light. Your light must shine in darkness and darkness cannot overcome it.
The fact that something evil happens to people around you does not mean that it must happen to you. Psalm 91:7 says, “A thousand may fall at your side And ten thousand at your right hand, But danger will not come near you.” Hallelujah!!
The darkness around you is not an excuse for you to fail, it is an opportunity for you to shine.
Blessings!
